Doggy Easter Egg Hunt and Kids Eggstravaganza – EVENT CANCELED

Unleash the Fun: Fruitland Township Hosts Its First-Ever Doggy Easter Egg Hunt!

Get ready to let the tails wag and the ears perk up because Fruitland Township is about to experience a bark-tastic event like no other – the inaugural Doggy Easter Egg Hunt! This fun-filled event promises a paw-some time for furry friends and their families alike.

Benefitting both the Big Lake Humane Society and Odin’s Heart Foundation, the Doggy Easter Egg Hunt will take place on March 23 at Nestrom Park (4545 Nestrom Road, Muskegon). Dog owners and their four-legged companions are invited to participate in this tail-wagging adventure filled with treats, games, and excitement.

“We are thrilled to bring this unique event to our community,” said Patrica Whitener, event organizer. “Easter is a time for families to come together, and we believe that includes our beloved canine companions. Our Doggy Easter Egg Hunt is a wonderful opportunity for dogs and their owners to bond, have fun, and celebrate the holiday in a special way.”

The Doggy Easter Egg Hunt will feature:

Egg-citing Egg Hunt: Large and small dogs will have a blast sniffing out Easter eggs hidden throughout the designated areas during two separate hunts. Each egg will be filled with delicious treats for our furry friends to enjoy. $12 for the first dog and $6 for an additional dog.  Current vaccine records are required during online or in-person registration. Unvaccinated dogs will not be admitted. Please check our website for further restrictions such as leashes and handling.

Kids Egg Hunt: Children will also have a chance to join in the fun during their own “treat-filled” egg hunt. The Kids Egg Hunt is $8 per child, 2 and under are free.

Photo Booth Fun: Capture precious memories with your furry friend at our Easter-themed photo booth ($5 donation required).

All proceeds will go towards the Big Lake Humane Society and Odin’s Heart Foundation

Don’t miss out on this egg-ceptional event that promises to be fun for the whole family, including the furry members! Mark your calendars for March 23 from 1:30-4:00, grab your leash, and join us for a paw-some time at the Doggy Easter Egg Hunt.
