The Duck Creek Natural Area (DCNA) is approximately 310 acres of Township Property located in the center of the township. It is bordered on the south by Duck Lake Road and Simonelli Road on the east side. Duck Creek and Scholes Creek flow through the center of this beautiful and undeveloped tract of land.
The volunteer group, Friends of Fruitland Township Trails, is currently working on building a natural walking trail system including bridges and boardwalks over the two creeks for the enjoyment of the community.
Access is through two parking areas, 4196 Duck Lake Road and on Simonelli Road approximately 6 tenths of a mile south of Michillinda Road.
