Muskegon County Road Commission Work – August 4th

Starting Monday, August 4, 2025, Muskegon County Road Commission crews will be applying epoxy overlay at the Nestrom Road bridge over Duck Creek. The road will be closed at the bridge and a detour will be in place. This work is expected to take place through Friday, August 8, 2025.

Office Closure

In observance of Independence Day, Fruitland Township Hall will be closed on Thursday, July 3, 2025. We will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 7:30a.m. Have a safe and happy Independence Day!

Transfer Station Closure

Please note that the Fruitland Township Transfer Station will be closed Saturday, July 5th. It will reopen for regular business hours on Wednesday, July 9th at 10:00a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

Pickleball Classes

The Fruitland Township Parks and Recreation Commission is hosting free pickleball lessons at Nestrom Road Park. There will be two separate classes on Thursday, June 5th.
